The artisanal Sesame cubata (not to be confused with the crunchy biscuit) is made by dissolving the sugar at 130 degrees “dry” therefore without adding water and then adding the almonds. Once mixed with the caramel, the mixture is spread on marble slabs and worked with large knives until a thin slab is obtained, and then cut into the desired shape.
For the packaging of our cubaita we have selected 100% recyclable Kraft paper
Its origin can be attributed to the Arab world, in fact its name “Cubata” derives from the Arabic Kubeta which translated means “to beat”. In fact, one of the characteristics of its processing is to quickly slam the knives on the marble to make the mixture flow and obtain the thin list.
